Back again!

July 7, 2007. Luckiest day of the century. What do they know?
Life goes on. We work hard, we play hard, we sit down and go to sleep...
This family is SO fluid. One group goes to Penn to see Rick, Rick goes to Philly to see Pam, Ray goes to Dallas to see Randy, Leslie goes to GA to see GA. On and on and on! Where ever will we be when the music stops?

Welcome to the newest Dave Ramsey convert. I are going to teach a financial responsibility class starting Sept. 4th. This is the best material I have ever had to teach. I have done several similar classes before, but none quite as compelling as this. We have so many families in the church who need direction and information about how to handle their money. Our education system teaches so very little on the subject and it is another area that so many parents are ill equipped to teach to their children so everyone walks around dumb. A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children. I am determined to leave that legacy.

Mandy claims that she is about to rejoin the ranks of the bloggers. SHOW ME!
Good to see the rest of you back.
Over and out from Uncle Westy.

How was the TX trip? How's Pete? Ju meet the newest?
I think that admonition about leaving a legacy is a great one but I don't think that money enters into it. PawPaw left a legacy at least to me. His life was honesty, hard work and family as was Dads.
We (dads bunch) have been able to keep that legacy moving through the next generation and I'm sure it will keep going.
It's the legacy that will keep this a great nation.

Well, inheritance is great - not that I plan on getting a large sum -- but the legacy thing is ever so much better. As I have said over and over, our family dynamic is so unusual and special. The more I see the workings of other families, the more I have learned to appreciate our family - how close we are, how supportive we are, how FREAKING HYSTERICAL we all are... :-) ha!

I love you all! Glad to see everyone getting back into the swing of blogging things. I am in Clanton this week, so away from my camera and cord, but as soon as I get home, I will upload new house pics and give a nice long "we moved" update.

Oh, and Blast is 20th and 21st. If you are in Clanton, call mother and get tickets. Scott and I will BOTH be in it his summer!

Much love to you all!
Les
