Happy New Year
I continue to learn. As you can see, I have posted a picture of me and a wooden deer. Don't try to read a lot into the meaning of the deer. We just happen to be in the same picture.
Christmas went well. We got to see pretty much everyone we could think of. A good time was had by all. Andrea and I got to go to the coast for a couple days of R&R. We really like the beach this time of year. If it is pretty you can't beat it. If it is rainy and cold you can hole up in your room and write and read and just come out for food. That works too. Chris called this evening, he had given everyone the day off tomorrow and thought I might want to know since no one would be at work when I got there. It's a nice thing to do, no doubt. But we sure are paying a lot of hours for folks not to work. Next year Christmas and New Years come on Thursday. Everyone is going to want to take Wednesday and Friday off too. It is not easy being the boss.
Your turn. What's happening with you?
Over and out,
Westy

Your commenting on any deeper meaning of your association with said deer brings many questions to light. You say you and the deer merely occupy neighboring space. But there on the neck of said deer rest your hand. Now there’s nothing wrong with associating with deer. Why some of my best friends do.
Now this hand can be saying many things here. If resting in a friendly manner then Hey! Move on. If acting as restraint – well there’s something to talk about. If acting as embrace ----- well maybe we should skip on to the answer to these and merely ask “Why deny the deer?”
